I. OVERVIEW
Versant Professional English Test (VPET) is the latest English test in the Versant language assessment system of Pearson, the world's largest education group and the largest examination and certification board in the UK. VPET comprehensively tests and evaluates four language skills and English proficiency used in an international working environment. The test is developed based on Pearson's GSE (Global Scale of English), divided from 10 to 90, helping to most accurately assess the candidate's English proficiency. VPET is also fully compatible with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and the 6-level Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework.
In particular, VPET applies Pearson's unique and exclusive Artificial Intelligence technology in automatically assessing language skills (including speaking and writing), helping to ensure extremely fast, objective, and most accurate results, as well as an effective, flexible, and cost-effective exam organization system.
VPET's modern testing technology has a Remote Monitoring model that allows candidates to take the test online at any location, while ensuring test quality and preventing all possible forms of cheating.
